Who are we?
The Young Onset Dementia Asia Pacific Research Collaborative (YOD-APC) was established at its inaugural meeting on 20–21 August 2024 at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. At this meeting, the founding members defined the aims, strategic priorities, and regional vision of the Collaborative.
Since its establishment, YOD-APC has expanded across the Asia-Pacific region, bringing together clinicians, academic researchers, policy leaders, service providers, care partners, and people with living and lived experience of young-onset dementia.
Our members are currently based in Australia, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam.
YOD-APC exists to foster regional collaboration, advance research excellence, strengthen clinical practice, and promote meaningful inclusion of lived experience.
