Welcome to the Dementia Mate Wareware Governance Ecosystem
He waka eke noa - this a canoe we are all in together! We are all on a shared journey.
The vision for this mahi (work) is an Aotearoa New Zealand where people living with dementia mate wareware and their family, whānau, and care-partners receive appropriate support to live their best possible lives with meaning and dignity.
We're building a governance system to help navigate this journey.
We invite you to find out more and get involved.

Budget 2022 Initiatives
Seven projects have been selected by Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Whai Ora to deliver additional care and support for people within priority groups living with dementia mate wareware, their whānau and carers. These special initiatives were made possible because Budget 2022 set aside $12 million to support some Dementia Mate Wareware Action Plan projects.
